Mercy, is a girl in grade 8. She is 14 years old and the fourth born in a family of five.
She joined Tareto Maa in 2010 and thereafter transferred to Naitawang Riverside Academy in 2014. By then she was in class seven but due to poor performance. She was taken back to grade 3.
Since then she learnt reading and writing skills. Mercy improved gradually and now she dominates top position in their class.
The girl has both parents who are unemployed. They also do not own a piece of land to settle. They have been given by their relative a small portion of land to build a house. They generally own a living by working for their neighbour to get their daily wages. They live in a hand to mouth kind of survival.
Mercy has three elder brothers who all dropped out of school before reaching class 8. She is the first of the five children who have ever seen a door to the top most class in primary school level. Her younger sibling is in class 7 in a public school where she spends most of her time at home looking for some necessities for learning.
The girl’s ambition is to be a doctor. She revived her lost hope when she joined the centre. She still looking forward for your assistance through her high school education to university to the very realisation of her dream. She intends to be a source of change in their family in future. She extends her sincere gratitude to the sponsors.
THANKS TARETO MAA FOR CHANGING MANY LIVES.
GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY
