HUFAC-CAMEROON sincerely appreciates all supporters and donors of the project, “Enhance Menstrual Hygiene for 3000 IDPs in Kumba Cameroon.” Through the generosity of contributors on the GlobalGiving platform, we have successfully raised $4,707 out of our $45,000 goal, representing approximately 10.5% of the total project target. With these funds, we have been able to directly reach over 650 internally displaced girls and women, representing about 22% of the intended 3,000 beneficiaries, through the distribution of sanitary pads, menstrual hygiene kits, underwear, soap, and hygiene education materials. We have also conducted community sensitization sessions on menstrual health, personal hygiene, and stigma reduction in several conflict-affected communities within Kumba. As part of our upcoming activities for the International Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, HUFAC-CAMEROON is preparing large-scale awareness campaigns, school and community outreach programs, free menstrual hygiene kit distributions, educational talks, advocacy walks, and youth engagement activities aimed at promoting menstrual dignity and ending period poverty among vulnerable displaced women and girls. We remain grateful for every contribution received and encourage continued support to help us reach more beneficiaries and expand the impact of this life-changing initiative.
