The Baringo County Government is working hard to ensure that the new dispensary will be operating this October. They are currently doing the final touches and they have assured the community that they have already ordered for drugs and equipment required for it to start operating. The community is excited about this and they still hope that they will enjoy the facility which they have waited for so long. The community has a volunteer nurse who is currently working in the temporary dispensary and they are happy since she is assisting them on health issues and well-wishers in partnership with Network for Ecofarming in Africa (NECOFA) and the community are supporting her towards her monthly allowances since she is not payed by the County Government. The community hopes that the County Government will as well employ permanent nurse(s) once the dispensary is in operation. We hope that Baringo County Government will put into consideration Kokwa community health needs as they deserve to have them. We thank all our supporters for their kind contributions towards health issues of Kokwa community.
