We finished an extraordinary year with our 10th PROED School Convention

The School Encounter is a designated safe space directed exclusively towards teachers, school directors, education authorities and specialists to promote knowledge and new ideas in learning and teaching practices in public elementary schools in Mexico.

The 10th PROED School Encounter.  “10 years opening horizons"  took place on Saturday, november 30th, 2024.  We had more than 180 participants who participated virtually from the mexican states of: Chihuahua, Ciudad de México, Estado de México, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Michoacán, Morelos, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Sonora, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Yucatán and Zacatecas.

Throughout our Magistral Conference we propel and include Gender Equity in every teaching practice and new teaching technique we share with our community of teachers and school directors.

We also finished the year with the program called " Tutorials among Equals" (TEI) in alliance with CIDEQ: it is a program designed to prevent violence and school harassment, with the finality of improving school integration, creating a non violent, inclusive school. This program promotes gender equality and tries to make students see each other as equals and peers respecting gender differences. This program has as a main goal to create a respectful environment within the school and has a zero tolerance policy for bullying. TEI imparted its very first program in our schools for 6 mothers and 11 teachers in one school in the state of Morelos.
