The GlobalGiving project “Promoting inclusion for visually impaired women” aimed at the Topos FC women's team "Topas", intends to strengthen the experience of the women's team, through the internal link between girl players and volunteers with the practice of football 5-a-side (blind football); and the performance of off-field dynamics to encourage greater participation and accompaniment among women.

  • Online training was stopped due to the possibilities allowed by the drop in cases in the pandemic at the end of last year.
  • During October and November 2021, the relationship continued in face-to-face training with the men's team, to achieve collaborative learning spaces between men and women.
  • The women's team actively participated in the start-up activities of La Madriguera Topos FC, the Topos community's own field.
  • November 20, The women's team participated in the creation of a collective mural to give color to the new court.
  • November 27, kick-off event at Madriguera Topos FC.
  • December 18, End of the year event with recreational activities with the three categories, women's, children's and men's.

What´s Coming?

11. The projects were stopped due to the new covid wave, now they were passed to carry out in March, the month of women.

2. Organize a virtual forum to reflect among all, on the presence of women in sports, soccer for people with blindness and disability.

3. In a second moment, it seeks to generate a meeting space with a women's match between Topas Puebla and Leonas Jalisco.

Testimonial phrases of Angels:

“The mural was great and fun, stress-free…very meaningful”.

“We are leaving a mark of each one of us”.

“We live with each other, we know each other better”.
