E-Coaching and Support for Young Entrepreneurs

The Youth Employment Network's (YEN) E-coaching Service closed down last year,  causing many new entrepreneurs to miss their turn use the site's  e-coaching network to develop themselves and their businesses.

Coaching or mentoring programs match young entrepreneurs with experienced professionals to help them develop the skills necessary to make their enterprise grow. Under the AAE -  YEN Marketplace E-Coaching Service Partnership Program which becgan in May 2012, AAE acted as one of YEN's Pipeline partner of the YEN , where our specific role is to help attract young entrepreneurs and e-coaches from around the world by sharing the opportunity to apply for the E-Coaching programme. During the program 65 young entrepreneurs were trained by 32 E-coaches through AAE's collaboration.

This month, we are glad to partner with  Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI) to support young entrepreneurship and increase the impact of the current mentoring initiatives of both organizations.

CYFI leads the world’s largest Movement dedicated to enhancing the financial capabilities of children and youth. Launched in April 2012, the Movement has already spread to over 100 countries and has reached more than 18 million children. The Movement leverages expertise and innovation from within its network of global organizations. Its partners and supporters include financial authorities and some of the world’s leading financial institutions, international NGOs, multilateral and bilateral organizations, foundations, renowned academics, and of course, children and youth.
