This March, you’re helping us support the animals of Ukraine who have been deeply affected by three years of war and destruction.
This month’s featured project is led by Happy Paw, a dedicated organization focused on rescuing and providing care for stray and abandoned animals in Ukraine. Recently, their operations suffered a devastating blow when a Russian missile strike destroyed their warehouse, which contained essential food and supplies for thousands of animals in need.
Despite this setback, the team at Happy Paw refused to give up. They turned to GlobalGiving for support, ensuring they could continue providing critical care for the animals who rely on them.
Happy Paw Fundraiser Nina Lozinska said this support will give them the chance to quickly resume the supply of food and medicine to the animal shelters who lost their food and medicinal pet supplies in the airstrikes.
“As a result, animals will have time to receive feed and treatment from dangerous parasites in time, and this will save their lives and health. So thank you so much!,” Nina said.
This grant came at a critical moment, as last week marked Ukraine’s third year of war, and serves as a reminder that the situation remains dire. Together, we can remain committed to supporting all living beings in Ukraine—including the animals.
Thank you for making this critical support possible, and for continuing to invest in the solutions that our world needs now more than ever.
Until next time,
