Because of your generosity, Project Keep Me continues to do exactly what it was created to do: keep people and their pets together during times of crisis. What began as a program to support survivors of domestic violence remains a critical safety net for those fleeing abuse. At the same time, we are seeing a growing and urgent need among veterans seeking in-patient treatment and stability during periods of transition.
Project Keep Me provides temporary care for pets when their people are facing circumstances that make it unsafe or impossible to care for them in the moment. With your support, we remove one of the most heartbreaking barriers to seeking help. No one should have to delay treatment, remain in an unsafe situation, or give up a beloved companion because there is nowhere for their pet to go.
In recent months, we have seen a significant increase in the number of veterans accessing the program. The need for Project Keep Me continues to grow, and your support makes it possible for us to respond when the call comes in. Every gift helps provide safe shelter, food, and veterinary care for pets whose families are working to rebuild their lives.
As we approach year end, we are grateful for the community that makes this program possible. Your support ensures that survivors can reach safety, veterans can pursue treatment, and beloved companions can remain part of the journey forward. Together, we are protecting more than pets. We are protecting families.
