The Dihya Foundation’s Digital Health Literacy Outreach initiative empowers communities, particularly women and girls, with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital health landscape effectively. Recognizing the critical role of technology in modern
healthcare, this program bridges the gap between underserved populations and essential digital health resources.
Our outreach focuses on teaching participants how to access reliable online health information, use mobile health applications, and connect with telemedicine services. By demystifying digital platforms, we equip individuals to make informed decisions about their reproductive health, family planning, and disease prevention.
Through workshops, interactive sessions, and one-on-one guidance, we address challenges like low digital skills, misinformation, and limited access to technology. Special emphasis is placed on including rural and vulnerable women who might otherwise be excluded from such opportunities.
By improving digital health literacy, we aim to foster healthier communities and empower individuals to take control of their well-being in a digitally evolving world. This initiative is a critical step toward reducing health disparities and promoting equity in healthcare access.
