Millenials, a group of young people aged between 16 and 36, have certain common characteristics. this generation has generally been marked by greater use and familiarity with communications, the media and digital technologies. That is why programming and coding interests them and they learn it very easily.
Superatec recently invited our partner Date Geek Group, a company based in Venezuela which is a technological development platform, and specialist in programming, in order to offer a course in programming web pages to our beneficiaries. There were 28 youth from popular communities near our training center Antimano in Caracas, 17 of them were girls, who are currently showing greater interest in this type of careers, almost always associated with men.
Up to now, 145 people have taken courses in Computer Thinking and Programming. We are happy to continue innovating and strengthening the skills of young people in digital inclusion so that they can have income and help their families in supporting their homes.
Only with the help and support of our donors has this been possible.
Thank you so much.
