Keyla, Erick, Andrea and Samuel are just 4 of youth among the group of 153 who obtained certification in the “Emprende Joven” program during last year in 4 SUPERATEC’s digital inclusion centers located in popular communities from Caracas, Venezuela. This program is designed to those high school students interested in develope computing knowledge.
During almost 100 hours training in computational thinking and programming tools using computer programs designed to learn coding such as Scratch and Alice, they were able to enter the fascinating world of programming.
They had the opportunity to create games through algorithms and challenge their peers, and teachers to demonstrate their skills and win in the challenges.
For Superatec it is step forward in training, beyond the teaching of Windows, and the Office suite. This new approach is training people so that in the future, after finishing high-school they can enter superior education and work developing apps, augmented reality and robotics, careers of high demand worldwide.
We are proud to be pioners in Venezuela teaching programming and coding.
