CYCLE COMPLETION (JANUARY – JUNE) 2024
After a 6-month training course in Dance technique and the first immediate results, we reached the end of the first learning cycle with an artistic exercise carried out by the students under the coordination and guidance of teacher Oliveira. The end of each cycle is celebrated with the presentation of a Choreographic Exhibition open to the public. The experience of the Exhibition assembly process is an indispensable part of understanding the composition in the Wild Technique.
The Exhibition was presented on June 12, 2024 at the Silvestre Associação Cultural. In addition to the public, the creator and creator of the project, Professor Rosangela and the artistic director of the Marias Project, Professor Matos, attended the completion of this cycle. The Exhibition was mediated by the teacher and project coordinator Oliveira, as well as its conclusion, which took place with the opening for testimonies and comments from students and the public. The conclusion of this cycle was the communion between electronic and live music, with the musician Peu. The public followed the Exhibition with a program and there was a professional photographic record taken by photographer who supported the project with this donation.
Despite closing this first cycle, the Exhibition is not seen as the result of the entire process nor its end, considering as such the transformations observed by the teacher and the students themselves and their discoveries and recognition of themselves and their stories.
The exhibition had as performers the students Paula, Duda, Gabriela, Pérola, Jonatas, Marina, Naranda, Paulinha, Pascuala, Verônica, Vanessa, Yeyé and the Monitors. Choreographic direction by Professor Oliveira with production by Silvestre Associação Cultural and Production Assistance by musician Peu.
During this first period, the project continues with the selection of new students to continue professional training, discoveries and social empowerment through dance, believing that art and collective strength guarantee positive and quality changes.
Once again, we thank you all for your support!
