The first recreational trip held last April 30, scheduled within the activities of the "Parental Skills Workshop" carried out at the Family Care Program (PAF) of Fundación Pro Niños de la Calle I. A. P.
The parents and their children, beneficiaries of this care program, attended with the educators to Bioparque Estrellatheme park, where besides being able to see up close, feed and touch animal species that live in freedom; they were able to strengthen their coexistence ties.
The recreational trip objectives were fostering coexistence ties in safe spaces through physical and recreational activities to generate teamwork, reflection and sharing experiences among family members.
Despite being a group activity, each parent took care of the integrity of their children, seeking to strengthen with this, the exercise of responsible parenthood in a place other than home. Another important activity was the lunch preparation that was the parents responsibility, trying to strengthen teamwork.
At the end of the day an assembly was held in which the parents shared their experiences on how to carry out a responsible parenthood outside the home and with this, seek to strengthen a support network among the attending families.
A total of 40 attendees, 14 parents and 26 children and adolescents were the beneficiaries that witnessed this trip.
