After months of planning, creating and drawing the 28 page comic book to combat human trafficking, the day finally arrived.
Phea's Dream, a delightful comic book showing the perils of believing and trusting strangers who promise of a "better life". The happy alternative is staying in school to be educated and able to make an honest living.
“Phea’s Dream”, is Cause Vision’s fourth comic book dedicated to the prevention of human trafficking. “Phea’s Dream” was developed using Cause Vision’s “micro information” methodology. Tiffany Pascal, an artist based in New Mexico, USA created the beautiful artwork. “Phea’s Dream” was developed as an actual case-based storyline through a Phnom Penh-based non-profit organization, CambodiaACTs. Printing of the first edition was funded by Siem Reap-based non-profit organization Cambodia Child’s Dream Organization, and the Vera R. Campbell Foundation in Los Angeles, USA.
CCDO staff and other NGO's distributing Phea's Dream, were training in the perils of human trafficking.
The comic book is being presented in schools and workshops in the rural areas of Siem Reap to help stem the tide.
A picture is worth a thousand words when you see the faces of the children and high school attendance.
We are so grateful to all our supporters.
