Volunteer Alliances with Universities: We are thrilled to announce that we have established valuable partnerships with local universities, encouraging volunteer participation in our initiatives. This collaboration has brought fresh perspectives and enthusiasm, enabling us to reach even more children and families in need.
Partnership with Waal Foundation: Our partnership with the esteemed Waal Foundation has allowed us to leverage resources and expand our reach. Together, we are fostering a supportive network, increasing our capacity to tackle the challenges associated with child abuse.
Continuation of Support for Patients: Our commitment to assisting survivors of abuse remains steadfast. We continue to offer counseling and therapeutic services to those in need, providing them with the necessary emotional and psychological support during their healing journey.
Foundation Azulado is committed to sustaining our efforts and expanding our programs to reach even more vulnerable children and families. With your ongoing support, we believe that together, we can create a world where every child feels safe, secure, and empowered.
Once again, thank you for your partnership and belief in our mission. We are excited about the future possibilities and look forward to sharing more positive outcomes with you in the coming months.

Con profundo agradecimiento,

Dear GlobalGiving,

We are pleased to provide an update on the work that has been done at Fundación Azulado in the last three months. Firstly, we are continuing our collaboration with Killkay Foundation to implement the Mi Escudo program in the indigenous community of El Cercado in Otavalo. The program has been well-received in this community, which has a population of 2,000 inhabitants, and we have received requests from other nearby communities for our intervention.

Secondly, we have successfully completed our work with 5 schools in the rural area near Quito, reaching a total of 5,496 children and 160 teachers through the implementation of the Mi Escudo program. We are proud of the impact we have made in these communities and are excited to continue our work in the next semester in 9 schools.

Lastly, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the first menstrual education kit created in Ecuador, called Vestida de Rojo. The menstrual education is a vital topic that is often overlooked, but when given appropriate education, women and girls can feel empowered and capable of making informed decisions about their menstrual and sexual health. Moreover, menstrual education promotes gender equality and inclusion. With the Vestida de Rojo kit, we aim to empower girls and adolescents by providing verified and reliable information about their bodies and menstrual health.

Thank you for your continued support in our efforts to empower and educate communities in Ecuador.

Sincerely,

Fundación Azulado
