2025 Saw the start of a new school year for a 100 bright-eyed and eager pre-schoolers.
These kids live in the poorest of poor communities. Most of them come from households where the parents are unemployed. The children come to school because this is their SAFE-HAVEN. It is here where they receive nurturing, safety, comfort and nourishment ... often this is the only meal they can rely on for the day.
We need YOUR support to ensure that these little ones can stay in school.
• $58 ensures that 1 child stays in school for 1 month.
• The School fees for a child in this programme is ZAR1000 per month ($ 1 = ZAR18)
• The centre offers full day care for children aged 3 -7 years
• Daily meals and snacks are offered
• Educational curriculum followed for all aged groups
