For a young child, learning begins with the simplest things: a new word, a colourful picture, a song, a puzzle, a story shared with a teacher, or the excitement of discovering something for the very first time.
At our pre school, these everyday moments are helping 100 young children build the foundations for their future.
For children growing up in vulnerable circumstances, access to quality early childhood development can make an important difference. Our pre school provides a safe and caring environment where children can learn through play, develop social skills, build confidence and prepare for the next step in their education.
But it is about more than lessons and activities.
It is about giving a child the opportunity to experience what every child deserves: to feel safe, to be cared for, to be encouraged and to know that their future matters.
Every day, our teachers see little moments of progress. A child who becomes confident enough to participate in a group activity. A child who learns to recognise letters or numbers. A child who proudly completes a drawing or puzzle. A child who learns to share, communicate and make friends.
These may seem like small achievements, but small achievements become building blocks for a child's future.
