Princess’s story
When Princess, age 4, first came to the school at the beginning of this year she was shy and quiet and had little self-confidence.
She comes from an unusual background where she lives with an unemployed dad and an absent mom. The teachers noticed the sombre behaviour of the 4 year old and realised that something was wrong. Her dad was counselled on the needs of this little girl and five months on Princess is described as the most talkative child at the JM Early Development Centre.
When asked what she likes about going to school she replied “I like all the different colours on the jungle gym and I love eating noodles.”
We may not know what the future has prepared for Princess but we do know that this Pre-school is laying a solid foundation for her future.
If you'd like to keep on changing lives of young vulnerable children and help lay a solid foundation for their future; please consider supporting this project.
