I couldn’t be more thrilled to share how your support has helped bring Bustani Manor to life! In August, we proudly completed the purchase of this stunning property, and what’s happened since is truly inspiring. Bustani Manor isn’t just another Village Impact project; it’s the realization of a vision we’ve been building toward—a cornerstone that’s beginning to drive Village Impact’s mission forward in powerful, tangible ways.
Transforming Bustani Manor: A Vision Unfolds
Thanks to you, Bustani Manor has had a complete refresh with much-needed renovations. We’ve updated the kitchen and bathrooms, breathed new life into the living spaces, and we’re excited to share that these improvements have doubled our daily rates! Even better? We’re fully booked through January, and interest just keeps growing. This is exactly what we envisioned when we first saw the potential of this property.
Set on 1.1 acres of beautifully kept land, we’ve started an organic garden that supplies fresh produce for both our guests and team, and yes—our very own flock of chickens provides fresh eggs daily. It’s the perfect blend of beauty, sustainability, and purpose.
Your contribution didn’t just help purchase this property—it is helping to transform it into a thriving source of sustainable income, fueling our educational programs for years to come.

Bustani Manor: A Hub for Impact and Innovation
And Bustani Manor is more than just a B&B and event/retreat space; it’s now the home of Village Impact’s permanent headquarters. Our growing team of 8 has settled into one of the larger rooms in the second building. But we’re just getting started. One of our priorities for the next phase is to construct a dedicated office space tucked into the green landscape next to the house. The plans are already in motion for a beautiful structure that will blend seamlessly into the surroundings while providing modern, functional space for our expanding team.
In addition, we’re planning to renovate the outbuilding, which will double the current capacity for guests. With this expansion, we’ll be able to host even more impactful stays and programs.
Looking ahead, we’re also exploring other exciting ideas for utilizing the property, such as turning part of it into a coffee house or co-working space—creating even more income streams to support our programs.
Every Stay Fuels Change
We can’t say this enough: Stay, Explore, Make an Impact. Every night a guest spends at Bustani Manor is more than just a stay; it’s a direct investment in education and community development for children in Kenya. We’re calling them Impact Stays—where your adventure fuels their future. What began as a vision for sustainable income is now evolving into the essential revenue stream we need to fund our core programs and continue changing lives!
