Dear friends, I will tell you a little about the importance of recreational aspects during the oncological treatment of pediatric patients.
Introducing play activities improves the well-being of children hospitalized for childhood cancer. Psychological support, both for these patients and their families, plays a fundamental role in facing and overcoming the disease.
In this sense, various studies confirm that playing during treatment favors, among other things, your mental relaxation and your ability to understand the situation, adapt to it and externalize your emotions, which usually leads to a general improvement in your state of health.
Play is a means of free expression of the human being, in this case the child to satisfy a need in his life such as leisure, that is, he needs to express himself in different ways through an activity or action in a certain space to find satisfaction and emotion in your life, separating yourself from your daily life and creating a world of your own.
