We're thrilled to share that our plant-based feeding programs and advocacy were just spotlighted in a full-length feature in USA Today!
The prominent news outlet explored our work to normalize plant-based food choices as a crucial part of global food security, climate mitigation, and sustainable food systems.
They also highlighted our plant-based hunger relief initiatives including Plants-4-Hunger and the Planetary Pulse Project, as well as our partnership with organizations such as Malnutrition Matters, which we recently expanded to support more soy-based micro-businesses for women in Africa and Asia.
The piece also features snippets from the reporter's interview with our founder and director, Dawn Moncrief, noting:
"In addition to supporting plant-based feeding initiatives in low-income countries, A Well-Fed World advocates diet transition for middle and high-income consumers, particularly in wealthier nations where over-consumption is the norm.
Moncrief says: 'Our role is to encourage those with options to make choices that free up resources, reduce environmental strain, and make more food accessible globally.'"
You can help our feature reach a wider audience by sharing our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn graphics.
As always, thank you so much for supporting our mission to create a world that is healthy, well-fed, and kind...all at the same time.
Yours in solidarity,
Ashley + the A Well-Fed World team
