PLANT TREES TO SOAK UP CARBON DIOXIDE.

Project Report | Apr 17, 2025
23-Apr-25 PROJECT ID #68174 REPORT

By Sylvester Egwu | PROFESSOR

It is no longer news that climate change is real but what is not news is the solutions to climate mutation and its concomitant ramifications to the entire world

The root cause of the global weather fluctuations and rising temperatures is the deposition of excess  carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and environment that trap heat in Earth's planet

There are 3 options for decarbonization namely:

* tree  planting to soak up carbon dioxide naturally.

*sequestration  of carbon dioxide to capture and store it.

* reducing reliance on fossilization or the use of fossil fuels.

EARN's project is focused on the first option in taking climate action   Planting trees is a nature-based way to solve climate change and warming challenges..It is a unique process of nature to both capture and store carbon dioxide. Tree  planting helps to restore degraded lands and  shoreline in order to improve habitats, agriculture and production of food.to combat starvation, famine, hunger and poverty.

This critical project has not as expected generated tree planning momentum in Nigeria to reduce heat, deforestation, and enhance weather stability globally.

Only one donation was recorded by EARN.

Essentially, EARN needs accelerated support and donations to get the project off the ground for better future and society.

.Donations for this project will be transparently and judiciously applied .

GlobalGiving, thank you and our donors for your suport.

OUR WORK IS POSSIBLE  BECAUSE OF YOU.
