Planting a tree is a simple act—but its impact can last for generations.
Across rural Uganda, communities are facing the harsh realities of deforestation, land degradation, and climate change. Once fertile lands are becoming less productive, water sources are drying up, and livelihoods are increasingly at risk. For families who depend on the land, this is not just an environmental issue—it is a daily struggle for survival.
In response, Development Alert is launching a bold initiative to plant 50,000 trees across vulnerable communities.
This effort will go beyond planting. It will restore degraded land, protect vital ecosystems, strengthen climate resilience, and support livelihoods through agroforestry and community-led conservation. Trees will be planted in farms, schools, and fragile landscapes—bringing life back to the land and hope back to communities.
Each tree represents something powerful: cleaner air, restored soil, protected water sources, and a better future for children.
But this vision cannot be achieved alone.
We invite you to stand with us in growing this impact. Your support will help plant, nurture, and protect these 50,000 trees—creating lasting environmental and social change.
Together, we can restore what has been lost and build a greener, more resilient future—one tree at a time.
