As part of preparation for the next batch of trees to be planted during the wet season, Green Care Association coordinated a team that went to the fields to collect some water friendly tree seeds for the nursery and seed bank. It took the team some five hours in the fields to collect four seed species. After seed collection the team also made an appreciation and evaluation trip to the firebreaks site executed by the community as a tool to fight incidents of bush fires. We remain grateful to GlobalGiving Volunteers whose donations facilitated our trip to the field. It's for these reasons that one of the volunteers Lawrence happily commented," so you guys have such caring partners out there, kindly relate my appreciation to them
