Upon receiving an application for partnership from the Kingomen Community Water Management Committee, Green Care Association recently provided 500 trees to support the protection of the community’s water catchment area.
Green Care Association also provided technical support by helping coordinate the tree-planting event and educating community members about the benefits of planting trees around water catchment areas and other important community sites.
The Kingomen Village Coordinator, Tangwa Francis, expressed his gratitude to Green Care Association and GlobalGiving donors, saying:
“The people of Kingomen are privileged to have Green Care Association in our midst, and we promise to make good use of the trees we have received. We shall forever be grateful for all the assistance given to us.”
