By Dr. Peter Carlos Okantey | The Palm Institute Founder & Executive Director
As we begin our second academic year at Palm Institute, we have enrolled 24 new students to-date for the three two-year diploma programs we currently offer. We are working fervently with the National Accreditation Board to receive our accreditation to begin offering three-year diploma programs. We are excited for the prospect of expanding our vision and critical-thinking model to more students.
A crucial part of the next level of accreditation is having adequate building space to accommodate all of the students. While our current building does suffice to meet the needs of our current students, as our student body continues to grow, we will need to also expand our building facilities. The financial undertaking for such a project is large, but we are excited for the opportunities that this next accreditation will enable us to provide our students.
We would like to thank our generous donors who ensured that our students now have access to tertiary education, and can continue on to become the next generation of Ghanaian leaders!
