Perfect Crossing - Playing a Big Game

Project Report - July 2026

This report presents an analysis of the educational development of the *Perfect Crossing – Playing a Big Game* project.

It outlines the theoretical-methodological foundations—grounded in the principles of Comprehensive Education—that guide the development of the course plans.

The report also briefly characterizes the three structural thematic axes that underpin the planning and execution of activities and learning pathways throughout the project.

Furthermore, it details the curriculum structure and the set of activities, events, and initiatives scheduled in the pedagogical calendar. These components serve as curriculum enrichment strategies aimed at strengthening pedagogical practices and broadening the students' educational repertoire.

Finally, the report presents the key positive aspects and challenges identified during this first semester. Based on this report and data collected by educators during the evaluation process, strategies and tools will be defined and implemented to refine course plans and teaching methods, with the aim of achieving the project's objectives.

Key activities planned for the year and executed to date:

In accordance with the pedagogical calendar developed for 2026, we intend to carry out the following activities, actions, and events:

- Sports activities at local schools to promote available openings (activity held in February 2026).
- Fair Play Tournament (May).
- Meeting with participants' guardians (May).
- Meetings and activities at local schools (March to December).
- Institute World Cup Tournament (July).
- "Ball Between Schools" Championship (September).
- "Orange May" awareness activities (raising awareness and combating the sexual abuse and exploitation of children and adolescents): May.
- "Yellow September" awareness activities (raising awareness about suicide prevention and valuing life): September.
- Visits to museums and exhibitions (2nd semester).
- International Day of the Girl Child celebration (October).
- "Bola Pra Frente" Elections (raising awareness about the democratic process): October.

Positive and negative aspects of the project during this first semester:

To date, we can identify the following positive points:

• New activity scheduling: The pedagogical and research teams mapped out the participants' school schedules; based on this data, it was decided to offer new class times that would not conflict with school hours.
• Streamlined enrollment process: The team responsible for enrollment made adjustments to the procedure. Under the new format, families filled out a form and were subsequently contacted by the team, allowing them to choose the best day and time to visit the Institute and submit the necessary registration documents. This procedure made the process faster and more convenient for families.

As a negative point observed to date, we highlight:

• Irregular participant attendance – as previously noted, irregular attendance among participants is one of the project's challenges. Some students are absent without a valid reason, which significantly disrupts the continuity of the learning process. We know that irregular attendance hinders the assimilation of content, the development of skills, and the strengthening of the bond with the project.
