Many young people in underserved communities face social tensions, conflict, and limited opportunities to learn peaceful conflict resolution. This project will engage 250 young people in structured peacebuilding workshops that promote dialogue, tolerance, leadership, and non-violent communication.
Youth are often exposed to conflict, political tensions, social divisions, and violence without access to training in communication, mediation, or civic responsibility. This increases the risk of disputes escalating into violence and weakens social cohesion within communities.
The project will organize peacebuilding workshops for 250 young people, focusing on conflict resolution, communication skills, leadership, and community dialogue. Trained facilitators will guide participants through interactive sessions, group discussions, and practical exercises, while follow-up activities will encourage youth to apply peacebuilding skills within their schools and communities.
The project will equip 250 young people with lifelong skills to manage conflict peacefully, strengthen community relationships, and promote social harmony. Over time, these youth will act as positive role models, helping to reduce violence and foster peaceful, inclusive communities.
