Parkinson walk to help 60 parkinson patients

Parkinson’s disease is a disease which causes movement disorder. Since the disease causes movement disorder, patients require walking stick, walker and wheelchair. These materials help the patients to move freely from place to place. So, in order to make life easier, the organization planned to raise fund to buy the needed materials through walk. In order to eradicate this problem, the organization provided the required materials.

Genet has witnessed that the provision of walking stick has eased the burden of the disease. She reported that now, she can freely move from time to time. She is thankful for all donors, who helped her to walk by herself

As the level of Parkinson’s disease escalates, patient’s inability to walk also increases. To help patient’s inability of movement, PPSO-E provides walking cane, walking stick and wheelchair for those who are in need. Provision of such walking aid materials enables patients to move from place to place and engage in various social activities.

Assefa, who is a Parkinson’s disease patient, thanks the organization for the wheelchair. He reported that the illness was getting worse and he was not able to move from place to place as he wishes, but things changed after the organization provides wheelchair. He said that he was able to at least go to nearby places and engage in social activities.
