ABC started its Palliative Care program in 2019. Through Lymphedema treatment, we have been serving over 70+ patients per month. Most of them need a weekly treatment until the end of their life. Lymphedema in post-breast cancer patients is a chronic, often permanent condition characterized by swelling in the arm, hand, or chest area. It occurs when surgery or radiation damages the lymphatic system, causing protein-rich fluid to build up in fatty tissues.

ABC has started its Palliative Care program in 2019. Its goal is to provide care and improve the quality of life for patients diagnosed with life-threatening diseases and for their families. It strives to prevent and ease pain by correctly identifying and treating the sources of pain in problems that can be physical, psychological, social or spiritual. We are providing Lymphedema treatment with our PT, nurses, doctors and psychologists for over 70+ women warriors!
Each Lymphedema patient treatment last about 90 minutes. During this time we have the opportunity to build deep connections with them, listen to their lives and everyday struggles. This is an amazing opportunity to share with them the Good News of the Gospel. Our campaign is named 'There is light after this' because after the breast surgery for the removal of their cancer, they feel like a burden to their families. Through caring and Biblical love we can show how precious they are in His eyes!
