This quarter, Good Cause Foundation strengthened its peer leadership initiative aimed at empowering girls to become champions of reproductive health awareness in their schools and communities. Selected students received training on adolescent health, menstrual hygiene, leadership skills, and effective communication.
The trained peer leaders have begun conducting discussions and awareness sessions among fellow students, helping to break harmful myths and misconceptions surrounding menstruation and reproductive health. These activities have created safer spaces where girls can openly discuss challenges and seek guidance without fear or stigma.
Teachers have observed increased confidence among participating students, many of whom are now actively advocating for girls' education and well-being. The peer leaders have also assisted in identifying vulnerable girls who require additional support, ensuring that no student is left behind.
The program is fostering a culture of mentorship and empowerment, where girls support one another academically and socially. Through these efforts, we are helping build a generation of informed young women who can make healthy decisions and positively influence their communities.
Thank you for helping us empower girls with knowledge, leadership skills, and hope for a brighter future.
