Thanks to the generous support of our donors, Good Cause Foundation continues to help vulnerable girls remain in school by addressing one of the major barriers to education—lack of access to menstrual hygiene products. During this reporting period, sanitary pads were distributed to girls in several partner schools, providing them with the confidence and dignity needed to attend classes consistently.
Teachers reported a noticeable improvement in attendance among adolescent girls, especially during their menstrual cycles. In addition to pad distribution, reproductive health education sessions were conducted, equipping students with accurate information about puberty, menstrual hygiene, and personal health.
The program has also strengthened peer support systems within schools. Trained student peer leaders are now helping fellow students access information, guidance, and emotional support. These young leaders are becoming powerful advocates for girls' rights and education within their communities.
Parents and school administrators have expressed appreciation for the program's impact, noting that girls are more confident, engaged, and motivated to continue their education. With continued support, we aim to reach more schools and ensure that no girl misses class because of menstruation.
