This project will provide per-hour work with dignity to 10,000 women in Peru: single mothers with children, young domestic workers and migrants from Venezuela. We will develop the First Peruvian Cleanning Internet Platform that will connect these women with per-hour work opportunities as cleanning ladies. They will receive trainning and monthly incomes over Minimum Wage, allowing them to provide for their families, look after their personal responsibilities and go for their dreams.
Domestic workers in Peru work more than 65 hours per week. There are thousands of single mothers who want to work while their children are at school (live in poverty conditions and have no one to look after them when they return home); young domestic workers who dream to become professionals but because their abusive working hours are forced to abandon their dreams; migrants from Venezuela who arrived to Peru with nothing more than hope and are having serious difficulties to find a decent work.
We will develop the First Peruvian Cleanning Internet Platform that will connect women with per-hour working requests as cleaning ladies. Through the app: they will choose the request that best fits their needs (date, time, location), the employer will receive the cleanning lady's information and pay in advance; finally both will be able to rate themselves. The cleanning ladies will receive: 1. Permanent training 2. Decent per-hour work 3. Monthly incomes above Min Wage 4. Empowerment to thrive.
This project will train and employ 10,000 women: 1.Single mothers with children, allowing them to provide for their families and take care of their kids when they arrive from school 2.Young domestic workers, allowing them to study a career (studying in the morning / working in the afternoon) 3.Migrants from Venezuela, allowing them have access to decent work (they are working under abusive conditions) These women will be the owners of their time. As a result will become the owners of their life.
