Special thanks to everyone who donated and/or supported our project, we have been able to provide legal services back in-doors with masks. Each month we perform an assessment of the COVID numbers due to the fluctuating cases and deaths. Our guidelines vary due to the case severity, over the past month, cases have begin to increase again and our awareness have been heightened.
During this period, we provided legal advice on child support/custody, traffic matters, driver’s licenses, and Transportation Worker Identification Cards to 24 formerly incarcerated people thanks to our volunteers and partners’ time, energy, and expertise. Each clinic is supported with masks, hand sanitizer and gloves. An intake worker is also now staffed to provide a COVID questionnaires to each attendee. COVID-19 require us to continue to modify how we provide services. Our new protocols can allow for social distancing, provide PPE, eliminate paperwork being passed back and forth, and create virtual solutions for those who have underlying health conditions preventing them from attending clinics in person.
We are extremely grateful for your continued support in helping us serve the community.
