Celebramos el fruto de nuestra mision

By Daniela Risquez | OSCASI

At the Organización Social Católica San Ignacio (OSCASI), our greatest joy is witnessing the growth, development, and progress of our students as they move toward a future with greater opportunities. This school year’s closing has been especially meaningful: our sixth-grade students have successfully completed their time in our Alternative Schools and are now preparing to continue their education in the regular school system.

Each of these accomplishments is living proof that hope flourishes when we work together as a community. These children came to OSCASI facing academic setbacks, vulnerability, or exclusion from the school system. Today, thanks to the support of their families, teachers, and friends like you, they celebrate the chance to keep dreaming and building a better future.

As our students enjoy a well-deserved vacation, our dedicated team of teachers, principals, and staff has entered a period of planning and preparation for the 2025–2026 school year. In the coming weeks, we will:

  • Assess the learnings and results of the 2024–2025 cycle.
  • Design teaching strategies that respond to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Strengthen our holistic formation, which not only levels academic skills but also nurtures social, emotional, and life competencies.
  • Ensure the continuity of our nutrition and healthcare programs, essential for effective learning.
  • Reaffirm our commitment to psychosocial support for children and families, building an environment of trust and care.

OSCASI is more than a school—it is a place where children and young people find education, balanced meals, healthcare, and psychosocial support. We know a child cannot learn if they are hungry, if their health is in danger, or if they face emotional challenges without guidance. This is why our alternative educational model embraces a holistic approach, ensuring that transformation reaches every area of their lives.

Every meal served, every medical consultation provided, every uniform delivered, and every hour of class taught is part of this shared journey toward a future filled with hope.

None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity and commitment turn this mission into reality. Each contribution becomes a concrete opportunity for a child to keep studying, dreaming, and growing.

The upcoming 2025–2026 school year will bring new challenges, but also new opportunities. At OSCASI, we remain steadfast in our conviction: every child deserves to learn, to grow to their fullest potential, and to build a dignified future. With your continued support, we can keep providing an integral educational response that truly transforms lives.

We move forward—together—for our children, for their families, and for a country with greater opportunities for all.
