The rural community of Mchinji, where Transformation Of Orphans Lives In Malawi (TROLMA) is working their is increased number of Orphans due to death of able parents, due to HIV and AIDS Pandemic. Death of able parents has contributed to low household income status, end result Orphans cannot afford to pay school fees, this has increased Orphans School drop outs up to 64% due to failure to pay school fees. 61.2% of Girls are forced to get married, and some joined prostitution as a way surviving.
The project will Solve the problem by Constructing School Classrooms for 1000 Orphans. The Classrooms will contribute to access of quality Education for Orphans who cannot afford paying secondary school fees, to learn at a free of charge. -The school Classroom Construction will increase Orphans Class attendance Rate. - Will also Increase Orphans School Completion Rate
The construction of orphan school classrooms in Mchinji, Malawi will provide a safe and conducive learning environment for 1000 orphaned children each and every year. This will completely contribute to the achievements of Orphans Sustainable Self Reliant life, and contribute to growth and prosperity of our Community. The Classrooms will also be used for future generations, and will contribute to job creation and provide economic stimulus to the local community, helping to alleviate poverty.
