Dear partners and supporters,
We are at an exciting inflection point as an organization. As a result of the high-quality education and leadership development that we have implemented over the past 14 years, we are seeing an influx of talented alumni returning to the community motivated to make an impact. As a result, our vision for impact has evolved beyond the Orkeeswa campus as we seize the opportunity to expand our programming with the support of these alumni. We now work in 8 local primary schools through Orkeeswa Outreach. And we offer Orkeeswa alumni opportunities to pursue their higher education, professional and entrepreneurial goals through Orkeeswa Incubator. This evolution has been both exhilarating and challenging, promising new and exciting growth in the months and years ahead. We spent 2021 engaging our commiunity, staff and stakeholders in a participatory strategic planning process to collaboratively design our vision for the future and align our team on the journey ahead. We are grateful to you for being a part of this work and look forward to sharing more news of impact in the months and years to come.
