After a series of declaration of government quarantine requirements by the COVID - 19 Philippine National Inter-Agency Task Force, the Organic Wellness Center has finally break ground. This is always a positive sign that this project which aims to help the local community rise up to the pandemic challenge of creating a sustainable and enhanced livelihood program to those who have been greatly affected most especially those who have lost their means to earn for a decent living due to Covid-19.
As a refresher of this project for our donors to know about, the organic wellness center is an alternative medicine production facility. The location that is in Dauin, Negros Oriental, Philippines is rich in natural resources including local herbs and medicinal plants that the community can utilize to come up with inexpensive and organic products that are alternative sources to maintaining good health. The facility can serve as a venue for production, packaging and selling.
