The Organic Vegetable growing project has had a very success story where women are training in organic farming practices at our demonstration garden, and then the skills attained is replicated at their gardens at their Homes.
The Team of Twase women development trust move to each of the Women`s homes to monitor and evaluate the performance of the project.
The women of twase women development trust are given seedlings from the demonstration garden for them to plant in their own gardens.
The vegetables grown at the demonstration garden help women get money to inject the group`s micro-finance,, and buy materials for crafts art work, and Re-usable sanitary pads.
The money that the women generate from their gardens help them meet their daily needs , forexample school fees for our children, medical bills. Addtionally we are able to buy personal items like bras, peticoats, cloths among others.
The project is currently serving 40 women
