Primary survey result in southern areas of Bangladesh 36% and above Village people are sufferings refractive error,at the same time they are not capable to take services with cost. In these circumstances 8 Women Entrepreneur taken a project for providing support to under served people. As a result 2000 people will be benefited directly(vision test,primary health Care&Cataract)in these project period.At the same time Women can-vision centre will be able to self driven project with there revenues.
The vision centre operating by Women entrepreneur from 2019 with well equipped their own premieres as charity. The Fred Hollows Foundation Donated all Eye equipment for better services for the under served people in Bakergonj areas.Accordingly Eye health services providing smoothly & huge number of people are taken services.In these year 2020 pandemic Covid-19 Bangladesh facing critical situation as well as our vision centre.At these moment need support for meet up operational cost.
The operating expenses will help for sustaining the project which will contribute long time in eye health sector to the under served people of coastal belt in Bangladesh. The Vision centre provides OPD services for vision test,primary health check-up & referral for cataract surgery of adult & children.The services is running from 2019 but, need support for overcome the pandemic Covid-19 situation and the end of the project Women can will be able to self driven Eye health Services organization.
The project will provide vision test & primary health check up 2000 patient & 300 patient Refer to District Government Hospital for cataract operation.At the same time awarded community people how to maintain personal Hygiene ,primary health care & Diabetics.The end of the project Women can will be able to self driven Eye health Services organization and they will be provided services to the huge number of people.
