For the second consecutive year, the Amún Shéa school had the distinct honor of participating in the prestigious STEAM Fair, hosted by the Academia Británica Cuscatleca. This invitation is far more than a gesture; it is a powerful validation of the leadership and academic excellence that students are cultivating in Morazán, El Salvador.

This fair provided the stage for these young, innovative minds to showcase the tangible results of their daily dedication and hard work. Amún Shéa students presented two extraordinary initiatives that perfectly reflect our holistic educational model:

  • BioRaíz (BioRoot): Developed by five students, this project offers a transformative alternative for sustainable agriculture. They introduced Mycorrhizae, a natural fertilizer created from plant roots and fungi sourced from virgin forests, designed to nourish crops effectively without the use of synthetic chemicals.
  • Art that Travels with You (Arte que viaja contigo): Another five amazing students captivated visitors with a stunning collection of paintings. Their work stands out for its environmental consciousness, using 100% natural pigments derived from organic sources such as egg, beetroot, charcoal, and achiote.

Competing against 6 guest schools and a field of more than 25 internal and external projects, BioRaíz secured third place! These students defended their scientific proposal with remarkable eloquence, confidence, and passion, proving that their classroom learning has the power to solve real-world challenges.

Warmest congratulations to these brilliant minds committed to building a better world!
