Help us reach our goal!
Last time we reported here, we were deeply immersed in our research and preparatory phase. In the past weeks, we got started with the actual creation of a booklet to educate and empower kids (ages 10-12) on online privacy.
Unfortuantely, we haven't reached our funding goal at all and would therefore be super happy if you could help us reach it:Just send this project to your friends and family!
This would enable us directly to produce and include ten awesome privacy superheroes and villains into our concept, to organise translations and print it in different countries for distribution at schools and other insitutions.
Regarding the content of the booklet, we've made amazing progress. The booklet will be composed of the following chapters:
1. What‘s the Internet?
2. Why should I protect my Communication?
3. What is privacy?
4. Privacy Rulez!
5. Protecting yourself on Social Networks
6. Smartphone Security
7. How to do safer messaging
8. Photo and Video sharing
9. Surfing the Internet
10. Password Security
11. Apps we like
As we explained previously, all chapters will also serve as the basis for stand-alone flyers focusing on one single topic. The material produced will be made available as free downloads on our website so that it can be easily printed and used in schools, at home and elsewhere. We will distribute printed copies in as many countries as we can.
A first draft is almost ready, the revised chapters will now be sent out for a final approval to the contributors… but we've tried your patience long enough. Here's a sneak preview of the booklet:
