Online education for children from Costa Rica
It is an initiative that seeks to close the digital social gap and improve educational quality in public schools in the country. It seeks to develop in students of primary and early childhood education the competencies and skills that our citizens require for a full life in the knowledge society.
The Project provided 4,280 children in early childhood and primary education with access to technology, which provides the opportunity for social inclusion and development of digital skills. In addition, it benefits not only the school, but also the families and communities of the students.
We have achieved this through teacher training, this year we accompanied 402 educators through 109 workshops and 197 hours of personalized coaching. In addition, teachers have had access to a virtual platform with content on how to give virtual, bimodal and face-to-face classes to their students, integrating technology.
In addition, the boys and girls in the schools received online financial education classes. They learned about saving and budgeting, with the support of a facilitator from the Quirós Tanzi Foundation.

Educación en línea para niños de costa rica
Es una iniciativa que busca cerrar la brecha social digital y mejorar la calidad educativa en escuelas públicas del país. Busca desarrollar en los estudiantes de educación primaria y primera infancia las competencias y habilidades que nuestros ciudadanos requieren para una vida plena en la sociedad del conocimiento.
El Proyecto dotó a 4280 niños y niñas de primera infancia y educación primaria de acceso a tecnología, lo cual brinda la oportunidad de inclusión social y desarrollo de habilidades digitales. Además, se beneficia no sólo a la escuela, sino también a las familias y comunidades de los y las estudiantes.
Esto lo hemos logrado a través de la formación docente, este año acompañamos a 402 educadores a través de 109 talleres y 197 horas de coaching personalizado. Además, los docentes han tenido acceso a una plataforma virtual con contenido de cómo dar clases virtuales, bimodales y presenciales a sus estudiantes, integrando la tecnología.
Además, los niños y niña de las escuelas recibieron clases en línea de educación financiera. Aprendieron sobre el ahorro y presupuesto, con apoyo de un facilitador de la Fundación Quirós Tanzi.
