Plant a Tree - Save the Earth

During the period of three months, ROSI has planted 2200 saplings in rural school, social forest and water based ponds/pool areas that are important in environmental and ecology concern. Including Neem, Punga, Vagai, Kodukkapuli, Amla, Arjuna, Vengai and Atthi and various new verities items were planted in Nagapattinam and Pudukkottai districts through Students, farmers, women groups and tribe people are in the planting works.

In the works, 90 saplings are getting survival and people are involving in tree planting and rearing work. We are heartily thanking you for you generous support in the environmental development works. This project is running in territory, mountain, ocean and forest ecosystems.

In the past reporting period, 2750 saplings were planted that are environmental valued trees such Neem, Punga, Vagai, Kodukkapuli, Amla, Arjuna, Vengai and Atthi. Students, farmers, women groups and tribe people have been mobilized and involved in the planting works. 1200 mangroves saplings were palnted in point calimare although alreday mass palnting was done successfully in that most of them are surviving. In the reporting period, 5500 saplings were planted that are environmental valued trees such Neem, Punga, Vagai, Kodukkapuli, Amla, Arjuna, Vengai and Atthi. Students, farmers, women groups and tribe people have been mobilized and involved in the planting works. Public pleases, school compound and rural road are places, where planting works have been done and they are surviving in present rain.

In he lastn 3 months, 15000 saplings of Mangroves were produced and planted in Kodiyakadu coastal areas of Nagapattinam district and 10 kinds of 5500 trees have been planted in Pudukkottai and Dindigul. 1200 publics have been motivated in the conservation of mangroves.  we heartily thanking you on behalf ROSI FOUNDATION.
