Beneficiary Story:A Colourful Gift from Afar comes
On a bright, sunny morning, the tranquility of a rural elementary school is interrupted by the sounds of laughter and joy. For the children of this school, it is a special day, as they are about to receive a unique gift from afar comes—a donation of water cups from the One Foundation.
Haohao, a Year 5 student at this school, lives several kilometres away and walks to school every day. Due to limited family resources, he has always used a beverage bottle for drinking water. Nevertheless, he remains optimistic and loves learning. As volunteers and teachers enter the campus carrying boxes of brand-new water cups, the children's eyes sparkle with curiosity and anticipation. Haohao and his classmates gather around the volunteers, eagerly watching as colourful gifts emerge from the boxes.
When Haohao receives his own water cup, he delicately caresses its smooth surface, his eyes shimmering with surprise and gratitude. He gently removes the lid, eagerly accepting a cup of warm water, savouring the moment as if tasting the sweetness and hope of life.
