Following the success of the pilot of the toolkit for the early detection of disabilities for children, Shamseya was present at a national event under the auspices of the Ministry of Social solidarity and GIZ in Egypt.
This presence and participation was essential and made a huge difference in the dissemination and the explanation of the toolkit and its usage. Dr. Ayman Sabea, Shamseya CEO made a full presentation to the audience on the toolkit and its benefits for families.
Among the audience, there were several kinds of entities who were present and were surprised by the quality and the inclusivity of the toolkit, between them were: local NGOs, civil society actors, UN agencies, National entities. Who are themselves parents as well, which helped enormously in the relevance of this toolkit to them as families and decision makers at the same time.
What made this toolkit distinguished is the accessibility and the inclusivity of the measures, also it’s 100 % based on scientific knowledge and international criterias. You can have an overview on the kit by clicking here.
