International Mathematics and Knowledge Olympiad participating in EAT WEEK 2023.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL WEEK, which took place from July to August, is one of the most impactful events for students from public and private schools and includes participants from all over the country in the cutting-edge technology segment. The winners of the International Mathematics and Knowledge Olympiad meet with winners of other Olympiads and participate in this technological immersion, where they have access to lectures, conversations, workshops and activities focused on STEM and learn from people who are examples of success in this area.
The Alpha Lumen Institute, together with its supporters, makes it possible for many students from other states in the country to come to participate in this event. We know the importance of bringing participants together so that they can share experiences from the communities in which they live, exchange ideas and think about possible solutions to improve education in the country in general.
As an example of good relations, student Gabriela - Captain of Team Cactus, present at SEMANA EAT 2023, signed a partnership with IAL to implement a study center at the school where she graduated (Escola Rural de Macaíba Parnamirim/RN) for preparation of students who want to participate in future Olympics, providing support, mentoring and encouragement, as well as publicizing this action, to expand its reach in public and private schools in the country.
We highlight the participation of two winning teams from OIMC that were in the Technological Immersion of the EAT 2023 WEEK: 2 STAINLESS STEEL STOVES 6 BURNS and CACTUS.
The team 2 STAINLESS STEEL STOVES 6 HOBS (N2C2), from Colégio Olímpico São Paulo/SP, won the GOLD AND DIAMOND medals.
The second team that stood out in this Olympics was CACTOS (N2C1), from Escola Rural de Macaíba Parnamirim/RN, which won GOLD AND DIAMOND medals. The team leader was the student who sought the partnership mentioned above to implement the study center at the school where she graduated.
