Ogbakor Ikwerre USA & Canada Inc. (OIUSA/Canada) completed a successful medical/surgical mission from October 9th to 13th, 2023, in the Emuoha Local Government Council Headquarters, Emohua, Rivers State, Nigeria. The OIUSA/Canada, with her various health-providing teams, treated 5,802 individual patients in five days.
OIUSA/Canada is preparing and fundraising for the next Full FREE Medical and Surgical Mission, scheduled for March 10 – 14, 2025. The Health Team is working tirelessly to raise the funds for the 2025 Medical and Surgical Mission.
During the recently concluded OIUSA-Canada Annual convention in Los Angeles, California, the Health team tendered their 2023 Medical/Surgical Mission report to the OIUSA/Canada General Assembly. They received resounding applause and a standing ovation for a job well done. The team seized the moment to raise funds for the 2025 Medical Mission.
The scheduled 2025 mission will occur in a densely populated area of Port Harcourt, and we will need more resources to bring it to pass. We hope our GlobalGiving community will again extend a helping hand to this humane and impactful project.
Again, thank Dr. Josephine Court and the OIUSA-Canada Health team for their selfless volunteerism in making the 2023 Medical Mission memorable. I want to welcome the new OIUSA-Canada Health Administrator, Dr. Godson Orji, as we look forward to another impactful mission in 2025.
