By donating to Oregon Humane Society, you are helping fund life-saving medical care, needed behavior training, spay and neuter surgeries, as well as transport pets from overcrowded shelters, fund Humane Investigations to rescue animals from cruelty and neglect, and ultimately, get thousands of pets into loving homes each year.
Every year, thousands of dogs, cats and small animals come to the Oregon Humane Society in search of a better life and a new home. Pet owners also turn to OHS seeking services to help keep their pets happy and in their homes. Thanks to the support of donors, adopters and other members of our community, we can find new homes for these pets and provide life-saving and life-changing care to owned pets.
With your support, OHS will be able to continue to offer support and services to pets and people in Portland and beyond. Services include behavior and training for shelter pets and offered to the public, spay and neuter to owned pets and veterinary care is currently available to shelter pets. Later this year, subsidized care will be available to pets belonging to under-resourced families.
Your support will help animals get the love and care they need to flourish both in the shelter and once they are adopted, provide services to families (both pets and people) and help OHS continue to create a more humane society.
