When you travel to Africa or Tanzania and want to do it Carbon Neutral, the best way is to help to plant trees in our beautiful country and help to reforest the planet. The planting season in Tanzania is before the rain season end of February and March of each year, but you can donate all year so we can make a big impact in the next spring. Since 2018 we have planted already more than 6,100 trees with your help at local farms, around schools and open lands. Maybe you can come and plant with us?
Give Back to the World you Travel! Coming to Africa to enjoy our landscape, beautiful wild animals, lovely people and fantastic food will have an impact on our environment and climate in general. We want you to come, so we make it possible to make your trip Carbon Neutral by planting trees with us. How many trees you want to plant is your own choice, but can also be calculated on different websites. There is a local tree nursery with Silky oaks, because it grows well and easy to take care of.
By planting trees, the CO2 will be taken up by the leafs and turned in to biomass of the whole tree, including the roots. In Tanzania, trees grow fast because of lots of sunshine, rains and high temperatures around the equator, so the CO2 uptake is higher than in the northern regions like Europe and the US. We are reforesting our farms, schools and forests, so we are rewilding our nation. The planets CO2 levels decline more each year because the trees become bigger and bigger, so join us.
In Tanzania, a green revolution is underway. Communities unite to plant trees, combatting CO2 emissions. As forests flourish, they purify the air, restore habitats, and empower locals. This grassroots movement inspires global action, offering hope in the fight against climate change. Though challenges remain, Tanzania's story proves the power of collective effort and the potential for a greener future.
